Our Story

A family business dedicated to celebrating Jewish joy

Food as love, memory, and welcome — carried forward across generations.

Food has always been an expression of love, memory, and joy in the Lymone family.

Lynn grew up surrounded by hospitality — the daughter of Jewish American Catskills hoteliers, where welcoming guests and feeding people generously was a way of life. Her father, an Austrian Jewish Holocaust survivor, carried a reverence for tradition, resilience, and the sacredness of gathering.

Simone comes from Persian Jewish heritage, where food is central to culture, celebration, and connection. Through marriage, Lynn became immersed in Persian Jewish life — learning Farsi and mastering traditional Persian dishes from Simone’s mother and sisters.

In 1994, Lynn catered her son’s bar mitzvah. The care, organization, and food were so exceptional that guests began asking her to cater their own simchas. That moment became the beginning of Lymone Caterers.

For decades, Lymone served Jewish communities across New Jersey and New York — thousands of bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings, brit milah celebrations, Shabbat meals, holidays, and community fundraisers. When the family relocated to Denver to be closer to grandchildren, Lymone came with them.

Today, we continue what we’ve always done: bringing warmth, tradition, and joy to Jewish life through beautiful kosher food and thoughtful hospitality — the kind that helps people feel cared for.
